Class Etiquette

Classes are suitable for all levels from beginner to those with established practice, as variations for postures are given.

- Bring your own mat
- No heavy meals 2 hours and no liquids 30 minutes before practice, as it's best to practice on an empty stomach
- If you must leave the room during class, or need to use the washroom, please do so between poses
- Women are advised to abstain from practice for the first two nights of their menstruation
- Inversions are not recommended during menstruation; but listen to your body and decide what's comfortable for you
- Come with an open mind and an open heart
- Be easy with yourself
- Focus on the breath and the poses will come
- Respect your limits and don’t compete. It's a yoga practice
- Enjoy and smile at yourself
